The Heartbreak of Infertility
It is estimated that around one in seven couples in the UK may not find it easy to conceive. There may be multiple reasons why a couple cannot or struggle to get pregnant. Fertility issues affect both people within the couple. There are many potential indicators or causes of infertility although they are not always evident or possible to identify. Causes many range from irregular ovulation, endometriosis, poor semen quality, high FSH levels (follicle stimulating hormone), age, blockage in the fallopian tubes, cervical position, womb environment, immune issues, poor egg quality, stress, hormonal levels for pregnancy, womb environment and miscarriage, as well as unexplained infertility.
